Cannot recommend Shutters Direct highly enough, who made replacing our 20+ year old cedar timber venetians with shutters a seamless exercise. Andrew, the owner, personally measured & quoted, & his wife Sandie kept us updated with invoices & installation details by email. Andrew also personally removed all of the old timber venetians & installed all of the new shutters himself (an entire house full), with the great assistance of Deb. Competitively priced and very happy with the result. We had a shutter made for a large double hung window to match others already in our home. Andrew and the team were a pleasure to deal with. Leave plenty of lead-in time if able, as turnaround time was about 10 weeks. But time wasn't an issue for us and I'd use Shutters Direct again, and recommend them without hesitation.
